Lost

A piece from the Anchored Astronauts

By Tamoghna Dey

Today I saw a little girl, smiling and laughing, playing with dandelions and tripping on clouds. Her skin shone like gold and she wore her heart on her sleeve, blood and brave. Then lightning struck and burnt her skin , crimson painted the earth. Now, her eye, they held no life as she looked straight at me from the other side of the mirror

Where did you go, little one?
